Search engine traffic statistics are a great way to see what your site visitors are looking for.  I recently noticed that I sometimes get visitors who, based on their search terms, probably didn’t find what they were looking for on my site. I know how frustrating that can be, so I’ve decided to follow the example of another blogger (unfortunately I can’t remember who) and start addressing some of those unanswered questions.

Here are the first two:

Search Term: “Sony Ericsson new themes free download”

This one is easy.  There are many sites that offer cell phone theme and ringtone downloads.  Some are free, others are not.  I tend to use umnet.com when I want a new theme or ringtone.  Lasyk.net is also a good place to visit.  It focuses on Sony Ericsson devices, and seems to be better organized than umnet.

This is a belated followup to my previous post about the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet.  I hadn’t received the tablet when I first wrote about it.  I listed some of its features that made it attractive to me, and promised a review once I had the device in hand.

Here are some photos of the device next to my Creative Zen Vision M (approximately the same size and shape as an iPod Classic) and my Toshiba e330 Pocket PC.

Sorry, the photos were lost in transition.

Here is a list of features I mentioned in my previous post, and my impressions of them in actual use:

What is GooSync?

GooSync is a utility that allows you to synchronize your Google Calendar with a variety of portable devices, including Windows Mobile Pocket PC’s and smart phones. I downloaded it to my Toshiba e330, which runs Pocket PC 2002. According to GooSync’s site, I could also use it with my Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone if I wanted to.

GooSync has both a free and a premium version. The free version will only sync calendar data, while the premium version, which costs about 20 pounds per year (GooSync is in the UK), will also sync contacts and tasks. I’ve found the free version to be perfectly adequate for my needs.
